How do I submit a booking request to book an event?

Are you licensed and insured?
Southern Sips is fully insured with liquor liability insurance. Please check with your venue to see if they require a certificate of insurance so we can provide one.
Do you supply alcohol?
We do not carry a liquor license to sell alcohol. The client must secure all permits required for the event. We do not own or sell alcoholic beverages but will provide you with Alcohol variety and quantity recommendations and a shopping list based on the number of guests and type of bar you will be offering.
Do you travel?
Southern Sips does travel. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for an estimate.
What is the bartenders attire?
Standard attire is black shoes, black pants, Southern Sips shirt or polo. However, we can dress how the host would like us to. It is also not uncommon to dress according to party themes (Halloween, Hawaiian, etc.)

What type of Bar services do you provide?

Do you offer drinks that are non alcoholic?
Yes! All you have to do is request non-alcholic beverages! We can make it happen!
Do you offer kid services?
Yes! We love bartending at Kid friendly parties!
How does “gratuity” work?
Allow a tip jar to be placed on the mobile bartending service bar for guests OR
Opt for hosted gratuity in which the tip jar is eliminated and the host pays 20%
Is the deposit refundable?
The deposit is non-refundable if the event must be canceled. However, you can reschedule with another date up to 6 months later.
LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS:
If your event is within 24 hours and you want to book Southern Sips Mobile Bartending, a last minute charge of $100 may apply.
Do you offer Refunds, exchanges or Returns on any items in "Shop?"
NO REFUNDS, RETURNS, OR EXCHANGES.
Do you offer Refunds on any "rental items?"
We do offer refunds on rental items 7 days prior to your event. Anything within 7 days of your event we will issue a 50% refund or you can switch the date of your rental for another date at no additional cost. (Date must be available)
Event Help and Wait Staffing:
Our event help and wait list staffing is dedicated to helping make sure your event is a success. We provide those extra hands at your parties and special events by setting up, serving food and drinks, helping with your buffet, clearing away used dished and glassware and cleaning up during your event. Please note: We do not wash dishes.
Alcohol will be served in accordance with Georgia State Liquor laws and regulations. The Servicer will not serve alcohol to minors (anyone under the legal age of 21 years). The Servicer will require proof of age (I.D.) for all guests of a questionable age partaking in alcoholic beverages. The Servicer will not be held liable for minors who consume alcohol during the event given by another adult.
Our bartenders are TAM-certified (Techniques of Alcohol Management). However, the host of the event is ultimately responsible for all invited guests and their actions. Southern Sips reserves the right to refuse service to any guest(s) who seem to have had too much to drink, per our judgment. Southern Sips works with you to make the call.
All packages require a Non-Refundable deposit of $50.00. The total balance due will need to be paid two two weeks prior to the date of the event. Southern Sips cannot perform any mobile bartending services until full payment is received. The deposit is non-refundable once the date is secured and staff is scheduled. However, you can reschedule with another date up to six (6) months later and use the deposit for the rescheduled event. We accept the following forms of payment: Cash, Checks, and Credit Cards.
Southern Sips will arrive at the time that was booked to set up so please include this in your pricing. When it's time for us to leave we make sure our area is cleaned.
